The Bible establishes unambiguously that God created the earth and everything therein and God entrusted it to the care of Mankind, a position which the Church strongly upholds as opposed to the theory of evolution. So, why then is the Church silent and largely indifferent to any abuse and misuse of the earth? What is the Church's responsibility to the earth and the environment in which we dwell? Should the church even bother to be engaged in any discussion about environmental issues? These are questions many Christians grapple with. I discuss some of these questions in this episode and subsequent episodes in this series on the Church and the Environment.
